Sika Deer

Sika deer historically where found in Japan and China. Adult males (called Stags) are somewhat smaller then their whitetail counter parts averaging a little over 100 lbs. Both males and females (called Hinds) have chestnut to reddish brown coats with a white rump patch. Males also have dark shaggy manes on their necks.

Sika Hunting Restrictions: Only males with hard horns (no spikes) may be hunted.
